据世界天然气12月11日消息,德国轮渡运营商TT-Line已与中国江苏金陵船厂签署建造一艘lng动力RoPax轮渡的合同。
该公司表示,新造船的计划交付日期是2022年,还可以在订单中增加一艘船。
该船拟在波罗的海的TT-Line航线网络内使用。
它的长度为230米,宽度为31米,采用双燃料发动机,可由液化天然气提供动力。
谈到这艘船,TT-Line的常务董事Bernhard Termuhlen表示,它将是其贸易区内“最环保的RoPAx船”。
新的TT-Line船舶将以公司的绿色船舶概念为基础建造,可搭载800名乘客和200多辆卡车和拖车。

Germany’s TT-Line orders LNG-powered RoPax ferry
German ferry operator TT-Line has signed a construction contract with the Chinese shipyard Jiangsu Jinling for the construction of an LNG-powered RoPax ferry.
The company said the planned delivery for the newbuild is 2022 with an option to add another vessel to the order.
The vessel is intended to be used within TT-Line’s route network in the Baltic Sea.
It will have a length of 230 meters and a breadth of 31 meters, featuring dual-fuel engines that can be powered by liquefied natural gas.
Speaking of the vessel TT-Line’s managing director Bernhard Termühlen said it “will be the most environmentally friendly RoPAx ship” in its trading area.
