据俄罗斯油气网10月21日消息称，石油巨头壳牌公司10月20日宣布，已开始在北海Arran油田生产。该公司在2018年做出了对Arran的最终投资决定。
2019年，Subsea 7宣布壳牌授予Arran气田开发合同，价值1亿至2亿美元。
Arran油田位于Aberdeen以东240公里，距离英国/挪威中线约3公里，水深85米。
Shearwater平台为周边几个油田提供支持，该平台于2000年投入使用，目前仍是北海最大的油田之一。
壳牌持有该项目44.57%的股份，Rockrose Energy持有30.43%的股份，Dyas UK持有剩余25%的股份。

Shell produces 1st gas from the Arran gas & condensate field in the North Sea
Oil major Shell announced October 20 that it had started production from its Arran field in the North Sea. The company made a final investment decision align="justify"> In 2019, Subsea 7 announced the award of a Arran Gas Field Development contract by Shell, worth between $100-200 million.
The Arran field sits around 240 km east of Aberdeen and approximately 3 km from the UK/Norway median line, 85 m water depth.
The Shearwater platform provides support for several surrounding fields, it was brought align="justify"> Shell holds a 44.57% share in the project while 30.43% belongs to Rockrose Energy and the remaining 25% is owned by Dyas UK.
The field, originally discovered in 1985, at peak production, Arran is expected to produce around 100 million standard cubic feet per day of gas and 4 000 barrels per day of condensate, which combined equates to 21 000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The life of the development is estimated to be around 12 years.
