Countries in North and West Africa have long been the Mozambique -- with its estimated gas reserves of about 3 Tcm -- has attracted three LNG projects and is well positioned to become the second biggest LNG exporter in sub-Saharan Africa, after Nigeria, and potentially Tanzania is also developing its long-delayed LNG floating terminal in the south, with the construction planned to start in 2022, and the commissioning expected in 2028.
