Norwegian Energy Co. ASA (NOR.OS) said Under the terms of the deal, the independent petroleum company will acquire the shares of Shell Olie-og Gasudvinding Danmark BV--the Anglo-Dutch major oil company's Danish subsidiary--which owns a 36.8% interest in the Danish Underground Consortium joint venture.
Noreco said the transaction includes proven and probable reserves of 209 million barrels of oil equivalent. In 2017, Shell's share of production in the joint venture was 67,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day.
The deal is targeted for completion in the first half of 2019, Noreco said.
