据安迅思新闻巴塞罗纳7月19日消息，埃及CarbonHoldings公司首席执行长周四表示，塔里尔石化公司（TPC）投资109亿美元的位于埃及的世界级规模裂解装置和石化工厂的工程和建设工作预计在2019年初开始，因为公司已经完成了融资按排。CarbonHoldings公司持有TPC51%股权，是控股股东。
CarbonHoldings公司首席执行长BasilEl-Baz表示，该石化工厂项目的债务和股权融资安排即将完成，该项目的进度时间表将在今年12月份发送给工程、采购和建设（EPC）承包商们。
El-Baz补充称，公司预计该项目将用48个月的时间完成预投料试车准备工作，并预计将用55个月的时间达到机械完工。
该石化工厂项目将消耗400万吨/年的石脑油，年产135万吨的乙烯，然后转化成为135万吨/年的高密度聚乙烯（HDPE）和线性低密度聚乙烯（LLDPE）。此外还将生产100万吨/年的丙烯，92.5万吨/年的聚丙烯（PP），25万吨/年的丁二烯和35万吨/年的苯。
产品销售将针对国内和出口市场。
