据烃加工2021年7月1日报道，到今年年前底，荷兰皇家壳牌公司在美国将只有一个炼油厂在运营：位于路易斯安那州诺科的具有日加工22.74万桶原油能力的诺科炼油厂。
熟悉壳牌公司计划的消息人士表示，壳牌公司将很可能保留诺科炼油厂，因为诺科炼油厂为壳牌公司旗下的化工厂提供原料。
一位消息人士称：“诺科炼油厂已与他们合并。”炼油厂位于新奥尔良以西25英里(40公里)处。
除了生产汽油、柴油和航空燃料外，诺科炼油厂还生产乙烯和丙烯，这些产品将运往邻近的壳牌公司诺科化工厂和附近的壳牌公司路易斯安那州盖斯马化工厂。
