BP PLC said Tuesday that it has invested $7 million in smart electric vehicle charging firm IoTecha.
IoTecha is a U.S. company whose technology connects EV charge points with the electricity grid, homes and buildings.
BP's aim is to provide over 70,000 public EV charging points worldwide by 2030, the energy major said.
