US. weekly LNG exports keep climbing
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the U.S. facilities increased during the seven days between October 22 and 28.
According to the data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration, a total of sixteen LNG tankers departed the export facilities.
The vessels had a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 58 billion cubic feet (Bcf).
This compares to twelve tankers departing the U.S. facilities in the previous week with a total combined LNG-carrying capacity of 41 Bcf.
Out of the sixteen vessels, Cheniere’s Sabine Pass shipped seven cargoes, with three further cargoes from the Cameron LNG plant. Freeport LNG facility and Corpus Christi facilities added two cargoes each.
Elba Island LNG plant and the Cove Point facilities shipped a cargo each during the week.
Natural gas deliveries to the United States LNG export facilities averaged 9 Bcf/d, or 1.1 Bcf/d higher than last week.
