据普氏能源资讯2019年6月28日新加坡报道，泰国国家石油天然气公司（PTT）旗下的勘探与生产分公司PTTEP日前在马来西亚沙捞越海域获得了今年迄今为止最大的天然气发现，分析师估计其天然气储量大约为2万亿立方英尺，从而使这个天然气发现成为全球今年迄今为止最大的天然气发现之一。
