据安迅思新闻伦敦8月14日消息，印度评级和研究机构(Ind-Ra)周二发布的报告称，印度有望在2021年3月前停止进口尿素，当前的进口量为600万吨/年，因为国内新的生产能力逐步投产。
根据印度2012年制定的新投资政策(NIP)，未来几年印度将有635万吨/年的新尿素产能陆续投产。
印度有望恢复生产的五套尿素装置分别位于塔尔彻、拉马顿姆、戈拉赫普尔、辛德里和巴拉努尼，每套装置的年产能约为127万吨。
印度政府此前曾表示，计划投资87亿美元，恢复闲置的化肥装置，并新建一条天然气管线，计划在2021年前实现尿素的自给自足，多余部分将用于出口。
