中国石化新闻网讯 据油气新闻网12月7日报道，道达尔能源计划在其计划的巴布亚液化天然气项目中每年捕获近100万吨二氧化碳，预计从2027年底天然气生产的第一天起，碳捕获和储存作业将上线。
在巴布亚新几内亚(PNG)南部的Elk气田，二氧化碳将在生产过程中被泵回地下。一旦耗尽，Elk将被用来储存附近Antelope储存地的二氧化碳。
道达尔的一位高管表示，这是从最开始就包括碳捕获和储存在内的少数项目之一。
2019年首次宣布的年产540万吨液化天然气（LNG）的该项目是由埃克森美孚（ExxonMobil）、桑托斯（Santos）和国有的库马尔石油控股有限公司（Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited）组成的一个合资企业。
第一阶段工程和设计工作于7月开始，最终投资决定将于2023年底确定。
