据ICIS网站9月21日报道 壳牌周一表示，公司签署了一份协议，将二叠纪盆地业务以95亿美元现金出售给康菲石油公司。
该交易将于2021年第四季度完成。
此次出售标志着壳牌退出德克萨斯州的陆上生产，转而更加依赖可再生能源，因为石油巨头面临着投资可再生能源和降低碳排放的压力。
壳牌上游董事Wael Sawan表示：“在审查了我们二叠纪资产的多种战略和投资组合选项后，与康菲石油公司的交易成为一项非常引人注目的价值主张。这一决定再次反映了我们对价值大于数量的关注，以及对资本的严格管理。”

Shell’s Permian business includes approximately 225,000 net acres with current production of about 175,000 bbl/day.
