据Upstream网站9月9日报道，美国超级巨头雪佛龙(Chevron)与美国重型设备制造商卡特彼勒(Caterpillar)将在氢能源项目上展开合作，在美国各地演示氢燃料火车头和相关的氢燃料基础设施。

The two companies will study the feasibility and performance of hydrogen as a viable alternative to traditional fuels for line-haul rail and marine vessels, as well as prime power.
Chevron and Caterpillar will also immediately start work align="justify"> “Through Chevron New Energies, Chevron is pursuing opportunities to create demand for hydrogen – and the technologies needed for its use – for the heavy-duty transportation and industrial sectors, in which carbon emissions are harder to abate,” said Chevron New Energies president Jeff Gustavson.
