据世界天然气9月2日消息称,俄罗斯天然气生产商诺瓦泰克和日本政府签署了氨、氢和碳捕获、利用和储存(CCUS)合作备忘录。

诺瓦泰克与日本经济产业省之间的协议于9月2日签署,这是在俄罗斯符拉迪沃斯托克举行的东方经济论坛的一部分。

具体来说,双方打算相互支持在俄罗斯和日本生产和销售氨和氢的项目,以及实施碳捕获和储存技术。

特别是,备忘录规定了在这些领域的信息交流和研究,以及实施试点项目,并为制定脱碳领域的政策、低碳产品标准和要求提供国家支持。

Mikhelson表示:“我们正在积极研究各种方案,通过在LNG项目中使用可再生能源、碳捕获和存储以及氢基燃料,进一步减少诺瓦泰克目前的低碳足迹。”

“这项战略合作协议为我们提供了与日本企业和金融机构合作的机会,以开发我们的低碳解决方案,吸引投资,扩大设备和技术供应商的范围。”

Also The duo signed a strategic cooperation agreement, stating their intention to cooperate “We are actively studying options to further reduce our current low carbon footprint from Novatek’s LNG production by using renewable energy sources, carbon capture and storage and hydrogen-based fuels at our LNG projects,” Mikhelson commented.

“This strategic cooperation agreement provides opportunities for us to work with Japanese companies and financial institutions “Moreover, it facilitates opportunities for us to market our clean fuel products to a wider range of consumers from Japan to reduce the total carbon emissions,” Mikhelson added.
