EIA: US weekly LNG exports and Henry Hub climb
According to data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), LNG exports from the U.S. increased this week, boosting Henry Hub prices.
According to the latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, EIA reports that U.S. LNG exports climbed week over week. The report period 26 August to 1 September 2021,
To be precise, 20 LNG vessels departed the United States. Six ships were from Sabine Pass, four each was from Corpus Christi and Freeport, three were from Cameron, two were from Cove Point, and align="justify"> They held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 73 billion cubic feet.
Lastly, the Henry Hub spot price also rose this week. It went from $4.01 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) last Wednesday to $4.46/MMBtu this week.
