据海上能源8月10日消息，从明年开始，韩国将为即将成为地区液化天然气加注中心的液化天然气燃料船舶提供退税。
据能源部官员向Platts报告，该国政府修订了关税立法，以便为用于船舶的进口液化天然气提供退税。
目前，政府对液化天然气进口征收每公斤2美分（24.20韩元）的附加费。此外，对冬季进口的液化天然气将征收3%的关税，在今年剩余时间将征收2%的关税。
取消液化天然气燃料船舶的进口附加费是将韩国发展成为区域性液化天然气加注中心并满足严格的船用燃料法规的努力的一部分。
同样，据报道，政府正在推动降低液化天然气消费税，以帮助生产氢气和减少煤炭消耗。
此外，国有的韩国天然气公司计划在Dangjin建设其第五个液化天然气接收站。这是朝着区域液化天然气加注中心目标迈出的又一步。
