Russian natural gas volumes transiting Ukraine in January-June fell by 12.7% to 21.7 billion cubic metres (bcm) year-on-year, Ukraine’s gas pipeline operator said Russian and Ukrainian gas companies signed a five-year deal at the end of 2019 to safeguard transit of Russian gas to Europe via Ukraine.
