据OE网站7月1日报道，Equinor 公司位于挪威北海的马丁·林格(Martin Linge)油气田经过多年的拖延，以及巨大的成本超支，终于开始投产。
该油田原本预计在 2016 年开始生产，终于在周三中欧夏令时间21 时 56 分开始生产。
今年马丁·林格油气田开发的成本已上升到630亿挪威克朗[约合73亿美元]，而今年发展和运营计划(PDO)的原始费用为315亿挪威克朗[按2021年计算为36.50亿美元]。
Equinor于2018年3月收购了道达尔在该油气田的权益，以及完成该油气田开发项目的运营和责任。
Equinor表示，大约有2500人在海上和陆上为该平台的生产做准备。一般来说，海上完成一个延长几个冬季的项目来说是具有挑战性的。冠状病毒大流行，加上对人员和其他感染控制措施的限制，也导致了进一步的延误。
