据ICIS-MRC网站1月19日莫斯科报道，据Kemicalinfo援引IANS的一份报告称，印度国有石油和天然气勘探公司ONGC的炼油子公司Mangalore炼油厂、石化有限公司(MRPL)与印度斯坦石油有限公司(HPCL)合并的计划已经被推迟。
合并预计将于2024年完成。
此次合并旨在将ONGC的上游和下游业务整合成两个纵向业务。但ONGC决定在合并前先围绕MRPL整合其炼油和石化业务。
据IANS称，只有在onGC Mangalore石化有限公司(OMPL)与MRPL完成合并后，两家炼油子公司的合并过程才会开始。
据公司消息人士表示，在保守的假设下，HPCL和MRPL的合并可能在2024年底发生，因为MRPL和ompl的合并必须首先发生，业务应该持续5年，至少2019年底是合并的生效日期。
合并可能在未来两年内开始，因为OMPL很可能在那时与MRPL合并。
去年10月，MRPL董事会批准收购OMPL 49%的股份，使OMPL成为MRPL的100%子公司。
