Taleveras secures term deal for LPG supply to US
African energy and infrastructure major Taleveras announced it has secured a term deal for export of Liquefied Petroleum gas (LPG) to a facility based in Mont Belvieu in US. Supplies under the agreement are expected to be shipped in the first quarter of 2021.
Under the agreement Taleveras will export propane and butane in Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC) volumes taking into account the propane-heavy cargoes to the US with butane making up "Our approach has always been to steer ahead, diversify our portfolio and sustain growth. Being awarded this contract is a major milestone that confirms our position as key contender in the industry,” Taleveras Chairman Igho Charles Sanomi II said.
Taleveras has recently started trading LNG and, with the growing demand for propane and butane from US, the company is gearing towards its US penetration ambition.
It operates in upstream, midstream, downstream and power sectors, offering strategic activities centered on sourcing and marketing of oil products worldwide. Taleveras has offices in London, Geneva, Abuja, Lagos, Abidjan, Cape Town and Dubai.
