Eni Gets Ghana Offshore License
Eni SpA (ENI.MI) said Wednesday that it has gained the exploration-and-production license for Ghana's offshore Block WB03, alongside its partner Vitol Holding BV.
The Italian oil major said it will operate the license, wile Vitol and Ghana's National Petroleum Corporation will be minority partners.
Block WB03 is located in medium-deep waters in Ghana's Tano Basin, where Eni already operates the Sankofa Field and holds several other development rights.
