US LNG exports slip Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States have slipped from the previous week.
Data from the Energy Information Administration shows that a total of eight vessels with a combined LNG carrying capacity of 28 Bcf departed from the United States between June 20 and June 26. This compares to 11 tankers last year with a total carrying capacity of 39.1 Bcf of LNG.
Data shows that six cargoes departed Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility and On Wednesday, June 26,The natural gas feedstock to US LNG terminals averaged 5.8 Bcf/d during the week under review rising slightly from 5.5 Bcf/d recorded in the week prior and considerably higher from the 3.4 Bcf/d compared to the corresponding period last year.
