据OGJ网站3月27日休斯敦报道，印度韦丹塔资源公司(Vedanta Ltd.)的油气部门计划对其在位于印度东海岸克里希纳-戈达瓦里盆地(KG盆地)的H-2井中发现的石油进行评估。
H-2井位于KG-OSN-2009/3区块内，发现井在钻井和井下测井过程中在3310 - 4026米的中生代地层中钻遇到了多个有油气显示的储集层。
在一次钻杆测试中，一个位于3403米-3,31米的储油层向地表流动石油。
据悉，在这个区块的第一口勘探井A3-2井获得了一个天然气发现。
