DJ Perenco Extends Cameroon Oil Exploration Contract to Seven Years
Perenco's initial three-year oil contract with Cameroon's National Hydrocarbons Corp. for the Rio del Rey basin has been extended to seven years, both companies said in a statement Monday.
The agreement, which is worth up to $36.5 million, permits Perenco to explore offshore in the Bomana block.
