据道琼斯2月6日消息，彭比纳管道公司（Pembina Pipeline）周一表示，公司将推进与科威特石化工业公司在加拿大阿尔伯塔省的投资数十亿美元的石化项目。
彭比纳管道公司表示，两家公司将通过加拿大科威特石化合资公司在阿尔伯塔省新建一套55万吨/年的一体化丙烷脱氢（PDH）装置和一个聚丙烯（PP）升级设施。
彭比纳管道公司表示，该项目初步估计的成本为45亿加元（34亿美元），包括建设期的利息支出。其中40亿加元用于生产装置的建设，另外5亿加元用于辅助设施建设。
彭比纳管道公司表示，公司将净投资25亿加元获得拥有生产装置的合资公司50%股权以及辅助设施100%股权。
彭比纳管道公司表示，该项目预计在2023年中期投入生产。

Pembina, Kuwait's PIC Give Green Light to Alberta Plant
Pembina Pipeline Corp. (PPL.T, PBA) Pembina said the companies will build a 550,000-metric-ton integrated propane dehydrogenation plant and a polypropylene upgrading facility through their Canada Kuwait Petrochemical Corp. joint venture.
Pembina said the venture has a gross capital cost estimate of 4.5 billion Canadian dollars (US$3.4 billion), including interest during construction. The estimate includes C$4 billion for the plants and C$500 million for supporting facilities.
Calgary, Alberta-based Pembina, a transportation and midstream service provider, said it will make a net investment of C$2.5 billion for a 50% stake in the venture, which will own the plants, and a 100% interest in the supporting facilities.
Pembina said facility is expected to be in service in mid-2023.
