据道琼斯1月3日消息，惠誉解决方案(Fitch Solutions)表示，缅甸是全球少数几个勘探不足的油气上游市场之一，去年年底出台了一项经过大幅改进的石油法草案，以取代几十年前的监管规定，缅甸的油气上游领域投资可能会复苏。除此之外，新的法律还将调整产量分成合同的结构。早些时候，该合同严重偏向前军队政府。惠誉表示，预计缅甸未来几个月还将提供至多18个陆地区块。尽管存在一系列国内外风险，但国际和国内的油气公司都对缅甸感兴趣。
