日本Astomos将于12月底推出新VLGC
据路透社东京12月14日消息，日本最大的液化石油气供应商Astomos能源公司周五宣布，将于12月底在其船队中推出新建的VLGC，用于从明年起采购包括澳大利亚的Ichthys项目和加拿大西海岸AltaGas项目在内的LPG。
Laurel Prime的容量为83000立方米，将于12月28日作为Astomos的第23艘VLGC在其船队中推出，这23艘船由4艘自己拥有的船舶和19艘按时付款的定期租船组成。Astomos还预计2019年上半年将再交付两艘新的VLGC。
据知情人士周五称，Astomos预计从明年1月左右开始从Ichthys项目采购液化石油气。
Astomos已原则上同意Inpex贸易公司购买其股权以增加Ichthys项目生产液化石油气的产量。根据协议，Astomos将以离岸价为基础从Inpex的全资子公司Inpex贸易公司购买数量不详的增量。
11月，Inpex称其在澳大利亚北部达尔文运营的Ichthys陆上天然气液化厂将其首批液化石油气货物运往亚洲买家。
Astomos还于2017年与加拿大的AltaGas签署了销售和购买协议，从不列颠哥伦比亚省的雷德利岛终端购买液化石油气，该终端预计将于2019年第二季度开始出口LPG。
Astomos随后表示，它将从雷德利岛终端购买丙烷，该终端计划于2019年第一季度启动，为期数年。

Japan's top LPG supplier Astomos Energy said Friday it will launch a newly built VLGC in its fleet at the end of December that will be used for LPG procurements, including from Australia's Ichthys project and AltaGas' project in the west coast of Canada from next year.
The Laurel Prime, with a capacity of 83,000 cu m, will be launched Astomos' start of lifting LPG from the Ichthys project is now expected from around January, a source familiar with the matter said Friday.
Astomos has agreed in principle with Inpex Trading to buy its equity lifting volumes of LPG produced from the Ichthys project. Under the agreement, Astomos will buy an unspecified lifting volume from Inpex Trading, a wholly owned unit of Inpex,In November, Inpex said its operated Ichthys Astomos also signed a sales and purchase agreement with Canada's AltaGas in 2017 to buy LPG from the Ridley Island terminal in British Columbia, which is slated to start exports in the second quarter of 2019.
Astomos said then it would buy propane from the Ridley Island terminal, which is scheduled to start up in Q1 2019, over a period of multiple years.
AltaGas has said that Astomos is set to buy at least 50% of the 1.2 million mt/year of propane to be exported from the Ridley Island terminal.
