据世界天然气12月5日报道称,MAN 能源解决方案公司麾下的MAN Cryo与挪威的Fjord1和Multi Maritime合作开发了液化氢船用燃气系统。

Multi Maritime为Fjord1设计的氢气罐,以及为MAN Cryo设计的氢燃料气体系统,原则上已获得DNV-GL船级社的初步批准。

该系统具有的可扩展性设计,可轻松适应不同的运输类型,尺寸和条件。该设计既适用于甲板上的应用,也适用于甲板下的应用,为船舶设计人员提供了灵活性,可以在效率,货物或乘客空间方面优化设计。

MAN Cryo表示,在设计新系统时,运用多年来在陆地上安装的氢气装置,结合其在液化天然气动力船用燃气系统的经验,具有不可估量的价值。

液化氢的温度为-253°C,是最冷的低温气体之一,该气体使系统组件和材料处于极端应力下。一旦液化,氢气的体积与其在气相条件下相比,会减少到其体积的1/800,从而促进更有效的分配。

作为燃料,氢气不会释放任何二氧化碳,并且可以在向清洁,低碳,能源系统的过渡中发挥作用。液化氢可以通过燃料电池技术为电力推进装置的电池充电。

MAN Cryo develops liquefied hydrogen fuel-gas system

MAN Cryo, the unit of MAN Energy Solutions, has developed a marine fuel-gas system for liquefied hydrogen in cooperation with Fjord1 and Multi Maritime in Norway.

Multi Maritime’s hydrogen vessel design for Fjord1, including the MAN Cryo, Hydrogen Fuel Gas System, has been granted preliminary approval in principle, by the DNV-GL classification society.

The system has a scalable design that allows easy adaptation for different shipping types, sizes and conditions. The design is suited for both above- and below-deck applications, offering ship designers the flexibility to optimize their designs in relation to efficiency, and to cargo or passenger space.

MAN Cryo said that previous hydrogen installations over the years Liquefied hydrogen has a temperature of -253° Celsius and is As a fuel, hydrogen does not release any CO2 and can play a role in the transition to a clean, low-carbon, energy system. Liquefied hydrogen can be used to charge batteries for electrical propulsion via fuel-cell technology.
