Kuwait National Petroleum Co (KNPC) said it aims to raise its refining capacity to 2 million barrels per day by 2035, Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Al Mutairi said in a statement KNPC is expected to reach a refining capacity of 1.4 million barrels per day by 2020 after it starts operations at its clean fuel project and starts operations at its al-Zour refinery, which is currently under construction.
