North Sea Oil and Gas Fields Close After Ship Collision
Equinor ASA (EQNR) said Thursday that production at some of its North Sea oil and gas fields has stopped after a shipping accident in the morning forced the shutdown of its Sture oil-and-gas terminal northwest of Bergen, Norway.
Production at the Oseberg and Grane fields as well as gas exports from its Troll A platform have all been stopped as the pipelines supplying the Sture terminal have been closed, Equinor spokeswoman Elin Isaksen told The Wall Street Journal.
