据路透社布鲁塞尔10月31日消息称，欧洲委员会周三批准了对克莱佩达海港液化天然气（LNG）终端的新政府支持条款，此前立陶宛当局在2013年修改了已经获得批准的部分条件。
新的条款包括对天然气公司Litgas强制向Klaipeda液化天然气接收站供应液化天然气的公共服务义务，以换取政府的补偿。。
第二个变化是立陶宛热电公司取消了从Litgas购买一定数量的天然气的义务，Litgas现在将在市场上出售天然气。
欧盟执委会在一份声明中表示：“欧盟委员会发现，对初始计划的修改，特别是取消购买义务，将有助于加强立陶宛天然气市场的竞争。”
